Design thinking

The idea was to create a digital presence which focused on the narrative of AstraZeneca's facilities, researchers and machinery. The approach was to design and build individual components that would form the main structure of the website. From these re-usable components, consistent page layouts could be created.

Solution

Using a modular framework system, the website was built and designed in just four months. The site brings to life AstraZeneca’s innovations with a variety of cutting edge scientific stories, told through words, videos, animation and beautiful scientific photography. Since its launch in 2016, the site has trebled in volume of traffic to the careers site and reduced bounce rate by 23%.
